Here For Her: The Mama Market
Because her mental health matters
In honor of Maternal Mental Health Awareness Month, Makers & Shakers is proud to announce the debut of Here for Her: The Mama Market, a free community event dedicated to postpartum wellness, maternal mental health, and family support.
Taking place Sunday, May 31, at Rancho Guejito Vineyard in Escondido, the event was created to normalize conversations surrounding maternal mental health while making wellness resources, education, and community support more accessible for mothers and families.
“This event was inspired by my own postpartum journey and the realization of how difficult it can be for moms to find accessible support and genuine community,” said Jasmine Noyce, Founder of Makers & Shakers. “I wanted to create the kind of space every mom deserves — one rooted in understanding, connection, and support, where women can show up exactly as they are and leave feeling supported, seen, and a little less alone.”
Designed to be both welcoming and accessible, Here for Her will feature a wide range of wellness experiences, educational offerings, and community resources led by local wellness providers, educators, and maternal health specialists, including:
-
Embodiment sessions with Heidi Revay
-
Sound bath and meditation with Sacred Spaces Oceanside
-
Mama & Mini dance fitness with Wave Fusion Fitness
-
Therapist-led discussion circles with Ema Therapy
-
The Mama Sanctuary, an intentional quiet space for moms to rest, recharge, and connect
-

-
Birth preparation and postpartum planning workshops with Doula Laci Mattson
-

A curated marketplace featuring local small businesses, wellness providers, and community resources
Many of the event’s wellness experiences, workshops, support services, and community resources will be available at no cost to attendees in an effort to make maternal support more accessible for families throughout the community.
Attendees can also enjoy live music, local shopping, food vendors, and additional family-friendly experiences throughout the day. The first 50 mothers in attendance will receive curated goodie bags featuring products from sponsors including Tubby Todd, Motherlove, and Amara.
The event will also feature a variety of on-site wellness and self-care experiences. Offerings include massage, hypnotherapy, postural assessments, tiny tattoos, tarot and astrology readings, aura photography, and custom ceramic footprint and handprint keepsakes.
Here for Her: The Mama Market is open to all, including partners, support persons, children, and pets. The event will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 31, at Rancho Guejito Vineyard in Escondido.
